[ARCHIVED] Governor Cooper announces new jobs coming to Troy!

Billy Maness' (chair of the Troy EDC) quote... "This has been a long process that the entire Troy EDC board has worked on, along with the town board of commissioners since spring of last year. It may have taken some time, but the end result is more investment and more jobs for Troy, which is a great thing. We will continue on our mission to work with our existing businesses to insure that they have opportunities to grow in the future, in addition to working on new business ventures."

Bruce Hamilton's (Mayor Pro Tem for the Town of Troy and Troy EDC Board Member) quote... "This is fantastic news for the Town of Troy and our citizens. My colleagues on the town board of commissioners as well as my colleagues on the Troy EDC have never stopped believing in the economic impact the town's business park could be. The EDC and the town board have been working with towards this announcement for nearly a year. The investment by the town in the business park and infrastructure has led to the creation of these new high quality paying jobs and new private investment. On behalf of the Troy EDC and the Troy Board of Commissioners I want to thank AmeriQual for believing in the Town of Troy and Montgomery County. Again, this is a great news day for Troy and the first of many opportunities that will come as a result of the board of commissioner's forward thinking, over the last few years,as it pertains to infrastructure and land investment, which leads to quality and sustainable economic development opportunities such as the one announced today."
